future project

Osney Mead

A vision for a unique innovation quarter in central Oxford.

Osney Mead is a chance to create a new kind of innovation district in one of the world's great university cities.

This will be a neighbourhood where academic research and industry work side by side, where world-class science sits alongside social spaces and everyday amenities. It's a place designed to support collaboration while offering real quality of life for everyone who works, lives and studies here.

Shaped by the Oxford West End & Osney Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), the proposals are rooted in long-term thinking - prioritising sustainability, strong connections to public transport and the city centre, and deep ties to the wider Oxford innovation ecosystem.

With space for research and innovation, graduate homes and a generous public realm, Osney Mead has the potential to become one of the city’s most sustainable and inclusive places to work, live and learn.
